Lombardo’s Restaurant closing after nearly 100 years – Times Union

Lombardo’s Restaurant, an institution for Italian and Italian-American fare that has been open on lower Madison Avenue in Albany since 1919, will close after service on New Year’s Eve, according to an employee. It will be open regular days and hours until then: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday, closed Sunday as well as Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
